Individual Counselling
People come to counselling for a wide range of reasons. Sometimes people feel low in mood with few identifiable reasons, or it could be there has been a sudden or dramatic change in your life circumstances. You may have been living with anxiety for years and feel like the time has come to do something more about it, or there may have been an event that has triggered feelings you thought were long gone. There are many more reasons why you might seek counselling.

Our work together starts with the basis of acceptance and non-judgement. Giving you the time to process your own thoughts and emotions and exploring tools and ways to deal with events and issues as they arise, counselling is a unique relationship that is focused on you. I offer you the opportunity to work in the way that suits you: I have many resources that I can share with you for those who prefer a more active way of working; or we can similarly use the time to discuss and explore the issues that are troubling you.

I have worked with those who are grieving following a loss, suffering anxiety and stress, experiencing huge life changes including relationship breakdown or changes in personal identity and circumstances, amongst a range of other issues. Together we seek to find a way for you to work through those issues that are concerning you.
